Our Brightest Star

Aquilla is our Beautiful Red Head here at Xeroth Border Collies. Her mother is our pretty girl Vega and her father is Levi (Multi International Champion Qeltynn The Joker).

Aquilla has been in and out of the show ring from 3 months of age and has brought us home plenty of blue ribbons which for our first home-bred puppy brings me so much joy. Aquilla has the sweetest temperament and could not love every person, dog or insect any more than she does or she might burst!

Aquilla was the very first puppy to be born here at Xeroth Border Collies and we are just so blessed to have her. 

For those wondering about her registered name, the night Aquilla was born the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower burst through our skies. Her call name is also a link to the stars, like her mother Vega (the brightest star in the Lyra Constellation), Aquilla's namesake is the Constellation Aquila where the meteors shot past at the time of her birth. This Constellation is also known as The Eagle which represents freedom beauty and strength.... just like our girl.
